Accredited Laboratory of Material Engineering and Environment in KOMAG has completed interlaboratory comparisons programme entitled: “Testing of proficiency in determination of global migration from polyethylene film” with very high rating.  Laboratory of Department of Food Research in National Institute of Public Health – National Institute of Hygiene was the organizer of comparison tests.

Assessment of the laboratories proficiency as regards testing of global migration from products made of plastics intended for contact with food required by Decree of Ministry of Health dated 22 June 2007 (Journal of Laws from 2007, no. 129, item 904 with amendments in Journal of Laws from 2008, no.  205, item 1285) and PN-EN 1186 Standard s was the comparisons objective.
Interlaboratory comparisons have proved high competence and proficiency of the Laboratory of Material Engineering and Environment in testing global migration from products made of plastics intended for contact with food.
