We are glad to inform you that on 18th June 2014 our Division of Attestation Tests, Certifying Body was audited by the Polish Centre of Accreditation on the new  Program for accreditation of certification bodies issuing opinions on the products approved for use in mining plants - DAC-21 Body as the first one in our branch.

MANAGEMENT

The 17th Moscow International Salon of Inventions and Innovation Technologies “Archimedes” was held from 1st to 4th April 2014. Its jury awarded “UO-400-02 small-size dust collector” with the Gold Medal.

The device was developed at KOMAG in collaboration with WIROMAG.    

Project co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund within the Regional Operational Programme for Silesian Voivodeship for 2007-2013

“Expansion of laboratory infrastructure at the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology to carry out the tests for safe use of products” project, which started in July 2012, was completed in December 2013. In 40% the project was financed by the European Union within the European Regional Development Fund – Action 1.3. “Technology and innovation transfer" of the Regional Operational Programme for Silesian Voivodeship for 2007-2013. Remaining project expenses were covered by KOMAG. The project enabled modernization of the test stands in the Laboratory of Tests and in the Laboratory of Modelling Methods and Ergonomics as well as to implement management system in the KOMAG’s laboratories.

We are glad to inform that the paper “Quai-static analysis of cooperation of trybologic pair of drive wheel and rack bar in the advance system of longwall shearer” presented by Adam Zachura from KOMAG during the Symulacja 2014 Conference took the first place.
Conference Symulacja 2014 is addressed to the managers, product development engineers and specialists involved in numerical analyses in research projects. This meeting gives a possibility to be acquainted with possibility of applications of the ANSYS software programme in different branches of industry.  

We are glad to inform that the Jury of International Poznan Fair INNOVATIONS-TECHNOLOGIES-MACHINES POLAND awarded a Gold Medal to KOMAG for “KOGAster Intrinsically Safe Control System”.
This awarded system is the result of collaboration between KOMAG and GABRYPOL Sp. J. Z. i R. Juszczyk.
