As part of the authorisation and notification granted to the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology in the field of conformity assessment - the Certification Unit carries out assessment for :
products of groups I and II of category M1 and 1:
- electrical appliances,
- non-electrical equipment,
- parts and components,
- protection, control and regulation equipment,
- safety systems
products of groups I and II of category M2 and 2:
- combustion engines,
- electrical equipment,
- parts and components,
- protection, control and regulation equipment,
- medium and low voltage motors.
The tests necessary to confirm the explosion-proof performance of group I and II equipment of categories M1 and 1 and M2 and 2, respectively, are carried out in the accredited testing laboratory of the KOMAG Institute (AB 665).
