Elastic range of accreditation for the Laboratory of Material Engineering and Environment

It is our pleasure to inform that the Laboratory of Material Engineering and Environment at the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology was authorized for testing in elastic range of accreditation in chemistry.

Elastic range of accreditation means that in the above mentioned field of activity the laboratory has a possibility to react to demands of its customers by modification of existing testing methods or including of additional testing methods to its range of accreditation with no need to inform the Polish Centre for Accreditation each time.

A confirmation of the laboratory competences, not only as regards testing but also management of activities within elastic range of accreditation, was a condition for changing the range of accreditation from fixed to elastic one.

At present the Laboratory of Material Engineering and Environment is accredited in elastic range and it is able:

to use modified own testing methods,
to use up-dated standardized testing methods,
to implement new own and standardized testing methods.

We recommend to get familiar with a new range of laboratory accreditation and with an up-dated list of tests carried out within elastic range of accreditation.
