Results of tests of electrohydraulic servo-drive with adaptative controller
DINDORF R., WOŚ P.
Results of experimental tests of electrohydraulic servo-drive with adaptative regulator were discussed in the paper. The problem presented in the paper refers to resistance of adaptative controller to variable loads and disturbances resulting from non-stationary and random internal and external impacts of electrohydraulic servo-drive. Obtained tests’ results and resulting conclusions enable to say that it is possible to build a control system of electrohydraulic servo-drive resistant to external disturbances in a form of abrupt changes of force loading the hydraulic cylinder.
Test stand for tests of hydrotronic driving systems operating in CAN-bus system
BARTNICKI A., TYPIAK A.
Development tendencies as regards control systems of present machines and vehicles based on CAN system were presented in the paper. Advantages of system and aspects which call for its implementation were presented. Configuration of test stand for tests of hydrotronic driving systems operating in CAN-bus system were suggested.
Losses and power balance in hydraulic satellite engines supplied with HFA-E emulsion and oil
ŚLIWIŃSKI P.
Impact of oil and HFA-E oil-and-water emulsion on hydraulic, volume and mechanical losses in hydraulic satellite engine was described in the paper. Impact of those liquids, which differ among each other with viscosity, density and lubricating properties, on the energy balance in satellite engine was also presented. A problem of using hydraulic engines in drives of small mechanization in the mining industry was also shortly clarified.
Optimization of design features of mechatronic drive systems of mining machines
Świtoński E., Chuchnowski W.
A method of optimal creation of design features of mechatronic drive systems of mining machines in the aspect of durability and reliability was presented in the paper. The problems of computer analysis of reliability of design combined with the Finite Elements Method were discussed. The issues of modelling of mechatronic drive systems, including toothed gear and asynchronous motor, were presented. Non-linear phenomena: variable toothing stiffness and tooth clearances were taken into account in a presented dynamic model. Optimization tests were conducted with the use of mathematical models of drive system. Minimization of values of maximal contact stresses and stresses at tooth’s base were accepted as an objective function. An algorithm of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) was used in the optimization process.

Self-propelled drilling-and-loading car for the coal mining industry
KALUKIEWICZ A., MARIANOWSKI J., GREGOREK K., KOCOT L., NIECHWIADOWICZ J., KIPCZAK P.
A prototype of new self-propelled drilling-and-loading car for operations in the coal mining industry, manufactured by the COMPENSUS Company in Bytom within the targeted project of the Ministry of Higher Education, was presented in the paper. Special attention was paid to operation of hydraulic-and-mechanical system, which realizes functions determined by the project’s scope.
Concept of pneumatic-and-hydraulic rotary-and-percussive drill
NIEŚPIAŁOWSKI K., JASIULEK T.
Design and principal of operation of rotary-and-percussive drill supplied with oil-and-water emulsion were presented in the paper. The drill is designed to drill the bolt holes in underground mine workings. The device is adapted to manual operation with the use of hydraulic support with mechanical extension. Such solution reduces device’s dimensions and makes its transportation easier.
Making the technical manual documentation of new generation available with the use of RFID technology
WINKLER T., MICHALAK D., JASZCZYK Ł., ROGALA J.
The possibilities of combining RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology with IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) were presented in the paper. Due to the use of RFID technology, an unambiguous identification of an object and supply of knowledge resources associated with a given subsystem of machine are possible. Extension of KOMAG’s offer as regards the use of RFID technology by the new solutions, which aid making the knowledge available at the workplace, is the objective of realized projects.
The use of PRO-M software for assessment of hazard of ignition of machines designed for operation in the areas of explosion hazard
FIGIEL A., DUDEK M., PUCHAŁA B.
The module of PRO-M software, which aids conducting and making documentation of risk assessment during designing of machines for operation in the areas of explosion hazard, was discussed in the paper. The assumptions for module were presented, its structure was discussed and practical example of its use as regards a typical mining machine operating in explosive atmosphere, which is a roadheadder, was given.
