Projects

Projects realized by the KOMAG Institute from European Funds

The success of KOMAG Institute is defined by extensive international contacts, broad and interdisciplinary cooperation with foreign scientific and research institutes, universities, companies and enterprises, activities in the field of integration into the European Research Area, expansion of traditional forms and directions of cooperation, generation of new projects, especially in the field of priority areas of activity designated by the European Union in framework programmes, as well as participation in international organisations, cooperation networks and technological platforms.

Image The primary objective of the activities undertaken by KOMAG, related to the implementation of the basic strategic tasks, is the integration into the European Research Area in the field of construction, research and production of machinery, as well as increasing the competitiveness of Polish solutions on the European market.

The international activities of KOMAG Institute are dominated by issues resulting from the overall strategy of our unit, according to which one of the priorities is participation in the research framework programmes of the European Union. Activities related to the extension of traditional directions and forms of cooperation and the implementation of new research programmes are undertaken on a large scale. This applies in particular to the areas of health, energy, mechatronics, new materials and technologies and ecology.

Cooperation within the framework of the Research Fund for Coal and Steel, in whose programmes KOMAG actively participates, is developing in a very interesting way, joining, among other things, actions coordinated by the European Association for Coal and Lignite EURACOAL, of which it has been a member since 2008, and the European Mineral Resources Council EUROMINES.
