Opracowanie skierowane jest dla osób, pracujących w różnych laboratoriach badawczych, nie tylko usytuowanych w obrębie jednostek naukowych, ale także funkcjonujących samodzielnie, względnie będących integralnym elementem większego przedsiębiorstwa.

W monografii zaprezentowano zasadnicze elementy systemu zarządzania jakością według PN-EN ISO 9001:2009 oraz systemu zarządzania według PN-EN ISO IEC 17025:2005, budowanego w laboratorium badawczym. Przedstawiając różne modele systemu zarządzania w laboratorium badawczym zainteresowani mają możliwość wyboru odpowiedniego, właściwego dla organizacji i sytuacji, w której ona funkcjonuje. W monografii dokonano klasyfikacji laboratoriów w zależności od kryteriów, takich jak status organizacyjno-prawny, przedmiot badań, status usługi. Omówiono najistotniejsze elementy systemu, ze szczególnym naciskiem na systemowe aspekty zarządzania dotyczące: struktury dokumentacji, zasad doskonalenia systemu, wyboru i walidacji metod badawczych. Z uwagi na obszar zagadnień oraz znaczne zróżnicowanie w poszczególnych dziedzinach badawczych, w monografii zwrócono uwagę jedynie na ogólne aspekty, dotyczące: spójności pomiarowej, niepewności pomiarowej, sygnalizując, że wymagają bardziej szczegółowego omówienia i odniesienia do specjalistycznej literatury. W opracowaniu przybliżono także pojęcie akredytacji laboratorium badawczego i podstaw prawnych oraz omówiono sam proces akredytacji laboratorium badawczego.

Management system in testing laboratories. General requirements

The project is directed to the people employed in different testing laboratories – not only the laboratories, which are located within the research centres, but also the laboratories that operate independently or those that are an integral part of larger enterprise. Main components of the quality management system included in the PN-EN ISO 9001:2009 Standard as well as included in the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Standard, developed at the testing laboratory, are presented in the mono- graph. By presentation of different models of management system for the testing laboratory, the interested persons have a chance to select a model suitable for their organization of work. Laboratories are classified in the monograph depending on criteria such as organizational-and-legal status, subject of testing or service sta- tus. Most important components of the system are discussed with special attention paid to the system aspects of management, which refer to: documentation structure, selection and validation of testing methods. Due to the scope of issues and significant differences in each research domain, the attention in the monograph is only paid to general aspects, which refer to measurement consistency and measurement uncertainty, signalling that they require more detailed discussion and reference to special literature. The concept of accreditation of testing laboratory and legal base are presented as well as the process of accreditation of testing laboratory is discussed.
